Heart Snowflakes

Happy Valentines Day, kid-art-lovers!

We made some heart snowflakes yesterday. I was trying to come up with some awesome heart sticker painting project, but it was just mediocre. So we broke out the scissors and paper and went to town exploring heart shapes in snowflakes. It’s technically still winter, after all.

Here they are. Some we folded 3 times, and some only twice; you can tell by the folds in the ‘after’ pictures.:

Hope your days are full of love, smooches, hugs, head rubs, love songs and, obviously, chocolate.

  1. Heart snowflakes for the win!!! I did a card project their other day with my kiddos with cutout hearts and they called them snowflake hearts!

  3. I love your ideas. They came out so beautifully and look reasonably easy to execute. Thanks for providing the template to cut them out because I would never be able to figure that out on my own.
