Homemade Halloween costumes have 1,000 times more of a wow factor than store bought costumes, and although we always sort of combine something store-bought with homemade touches, I am a huge fan of well thought out, creative costumes for kids.
Cardboard boxes seem to be a good starting point for lots of costumes. I feel like next year I might have to save tons of cardboard boxes and sit around staring at them for a few months before Halloween. Surely that will help the creative juices flow. Who’s in? Will you make your costumes with me next year?
Duct tape is always a good bet if you need to make some quick animal stripes. These are very cute.
