It’s Time For Google’s Doodle Contest For Kids!

Hi doods! It’s time for the Google Doodle contest for kids. I posted on this last year- just in time to show you the winning artwork- but now it’s time for you to get your kids thinking and creating for this year’s contest.

You do want to win a $30,000 college scholarship, and a $50,000 technology grant for their school, don’t you?!?

Here’s last year’s winner- Dylan Hoffman from Wisconsin, when the theme was If I could travel in time. It is entitled “Pirate Times”.

2011′s winner was Matteo Lopez from California- The theme was, What I want to do someday, and his is called  “Space Life”.

Kids in K-12th grade are eligible to enter, and besides there being one main winner, there will be one winner selected from each state. The contest will culminate in a special group exhibit of all of these winners at the American Museum of Natural History from May 22, 2013 through July 14th, 2013. The deadline for entering is March 22nd.

The theme for this year is What I like best about the Artchoo site. Oh, wait- that’s not it. It’s My best day ever. Open to interpretation, kids! This can be their best day that has already occurred or one that they are dreaming of for the future. Love it. I can’t wait to see what these kids come up with.
